Owner’s comments:     Toby is perfect for an adult (18 years or older) advanced beginner or intermediate rider looking for a horse to continue learning on or to get back into riding.  He is more whoa than go and requires an experienced leg to move forward.  His gaits are comfortable and when moving forward he looks sharp.  Occasionally his ground manners need to be reinforced.  He is the kind of horse that will test his rider and help develop his rider’s skills and confidence.  But he will also give his all as long as he knows you are in charge.  He does not take to doing jumps but appears to enjoy doing ground pole work.  Currently he is continuing his training and is learning the beginning of Dressage Level 1.  I am looking to do an on-site half-lease to someone who is interested in riding 2 or 3 times a week.
